Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi has assured the Organised Private Sector (OPS) of the provision of an enabling environment for their various businesses to thrive.
Makinde gave the assurance while receiving, on a courtesy visit, the management team of Jagz Hotel, Ibadan, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Kayode Adegbulugbe, at the weekend.
The governor, who expressed readiness to partner with the organised Private Sector to boost the economy, called on the OPS to tap into the economic potential of the state.
He described the CEO of Jagz Hotel, which is billed for commissioning on October 1, 2024, as a role model for the teeming youths in the state
In a bid to boost tourism and hospitality in Oyo State, the Jagz Hotel, located in Iyaganku GRA, opposite NUJ Press Centre, is set for a grand opening on October 1st, 2024.
The hotel’s chairman and CEO, Engr. Kayode Adegbulugbe, paid a courtesy call to Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday, ahead of the hotel’s launch.
Governor Makinde praised the hotel’s architectural design and its location in Ibadan, promising that his government would continue to provide an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.
He commended Adegbulugbe as a role model for young entrepreneurs, contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth.
The governor added that Adegbulugbe’s initiative aligns with his government’s efforts to boost economic growth, attract investors, and promote tourism.
Adegbulugbe, accompanied by ElSabio Development Limited’s MD, Engr. Tunji Akinboro; Mr Bode Falope; and the CEO of Silk Road Hospitality, Mr Dewalt Kruger, expressed gratitude to the governor for creating an atmosphere conducive to business growth.
He lauded the governor’s efforts in road infrastructure, sports, tourism, and hospitality development.
Adegbulugbe further hinted that “The Jagz Hotel” is poised to become a landmark in Ibadan’s hospitality industry, offering world-class services and facilities.
