

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has taken his oath of office and has been sworn in for a second term.
The oath and swearing-in was administered by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Iyabo Yerima.

After taking the oath of office, he was driven around the stadium to inspect the parade formed by security men.
He is expected to give a speech heralding the commencement of his second term.
