The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State for the recent donation of 100,000 hectares of land to the Nigerian Navy.

In a statement released by Mr. Henshaw Ogubike, Director of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry, Dr. Matawalle expressed his appreciation for Governor Abiodun’s unwavering support for the Nigerian Armed Forces, noting that the donation reflects a strong commitment to the country’s security and development.

He emphasized that this gesture not only provides a strategic boost to the Nigerian Navy but also strengthens national security infrastructure in the South-West region.
