The Minister of Women Affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, has called on all well-meaning Nigerians to support the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the care of Nigerian women, especially the vulnerable.
Ohanenye made this call during a pre-press briefing on the official launch of the project P-BAT Cares for Nigerian Women.
The minister explained that when a woman is taken care of, the nation is taken care of.
Ohanenye said, “So I am urging you all to support and partner with Mr. President to achieve the Renewed Hope Agenda, which is one of the measures that will curb insecurity and save Nigerians.”
“I am pleading with you to support Mr. President, who will be unveiling P-BAT Cares for Nigerian Women and the Integrity Brigade.”
She mentioned that the Integrity Brigade, an essential project aimed at preventing protests and other upheavals that may distract government activities, is an encompassing initiative involving all Nigerians, including religious and traditional leaders.
“The Integrity Brigade is to ensure that all decisions taken concerning Nigerians will bear fruits.
“The Integrity Brigade is designed to assist the government but will not tolerate individuals who frustrate its efforts. For instance, if you are an NGO, you must provide support that will benefit Nigerians and not siphon money. This is the essence of the Integrity Brigade.”

“It is meant to guarantee that we won’t experience protests and other distractions to the government. Instead, they should advocate for Nigerians through peaceful means,” the minister emphasized.
