A middle-aged suspected motorcycle thief simply identified as Loni was on Sunday killed and set ablaze by an angry mob in Osun State.
Nationnewslead gathered that Loni was mobbed when he attempted to steal a motorcycle in Ilesa on Sunday morning. He was mobbed to death and steal ablaze.
A statement by Osun Police spokesperson Yemisi Opalola, explained around 8:30am one Loni was found dead at Ireti Ayo along Ijebu-Jess Road in Ilesha.
She noted the deceased specialized in stealing motorcycles in Ilesha.
According to her: “He was killed by mob action while he was attempting to steal a motorcycle parked by the road side. A team of police detectives visited the scene, photographs of the corpse was taken.
“We have deposited the corpse at Wesley Guild Hospital mortuary. No arrest yet.” Continue Reading
