The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has officially released the Hajj fares for all states, including Kogi state, for the 2023 holy pilgrimage.

The Hajj fare for Kogi State has been fixed at N2,919,000 only.

Sheik Lukman Imam Abdullahi, the Executive Chairman of NAHCON, emphasized that all intending pilgrims from Kogi State have until the 21st of April to balance their deposit to the Hajj fares of N2,919,000.

The Commission stated that there will be no extension after the expiration of the given date.

The Commission urged intending pilgrims who are yet to complete their documentation to do so without any further delay.

Intending pilgrims are also required to submit their international passports to the Hajj commission office in Lokoja, as the procurement of visas will commence very soon.

According to Sheik Abdullahi, enlightenment programs, medical screening, and inoculation for all intending pilgrims will commence immediately after the Ramadan fast.

For fresh subscribers to the Hajj saving scheme, the platform will be closed for enrollment at the close of work on Tuesday, April 11th. However, the platform will remain open for old subscribers to balance up their payments till the 21st of April.

The release of the Hajj fares by NAHCON has set the ball rolling for intending pilgrims from Kogi State to make adequate preparations towards the holy pilgrimage.
