Dr (Mrs) Shade Olukoya, wife of the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, has emphasised the importance of women’s inclusion in nation-building.
She made this assertion at the ongoing MFM 35th Anniversary & International Convention where she addressed the congregation on the lecture titled: “God’s power outpour on maidservants”, on Friday.
According to her, “a nation without women’s involvement is miserable”.
Olukoya stressed that women are crucial to a nation’s development, citing their roles as mothers, caregivers, and contributors to the economy.
She advocated for equal opportunities and gender equality, urging leaders to create an enabling environment for women to thrive.
This comes on heels of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 5, which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
Olukoya’s call to action highlights the need for collective efforts to break down barriers and foster a more inclusive society.
