Social media users have reacted diversely to the news of the Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), Baltasar Ebang Engonga, who is embroiled in a sex scandal involving multiple women.
Tribune Online reports that Engonga was caught on tape engaging in sexual activities with various women, including his brother’s wife, cousin, and the sister of Equatorial Guinea’s President.
The scandal came to light during an investigation into alleged fraud, in which authorities discovered over 300 tapes of Baltasar with different women, including married women, on his computer.
These encounters reportedly took place in various locations, including his office, hotels, and bathrooms, with all participants allegedly consenting to being recorded.
However, the scandal has continued to stir reactions on social media, with many taking to X to share their opinions on the development.
While some believe Baltasar should be heavily punished, others argue that he has not committed a crime, emphasising that all the encounters were consensual among the parties involved.
Reacting to the scandal on X, a user @PureStanley1 wrote, “The fact that the wife of Baltasar Engonga the Equatorial Guinea man is this beautiful and bore him 6 good looking boys, and yet he slept with 400 different women without “protection” tells u all u need to know Abt him. He is possessed or should I say his village pple has a hand in his unending sexuaI adventures.”
Another user, @_Makhanya_ tweeted, “The 300/400 secs tapes are only the ones that were documented, this man probably slept with 1000 women if not more.”
@AdebimpeMiriam Wrote, “What else does he want. He has a beautiful family. Those women don’t even have 1/4 of his wife’s beauty. I really pity his wife. She needs to go for STD test, and if she is lucky to be negative,she should run for her dear life.”
