Netflix, the popular streaming platform, has announced a lineup of new titles for July, promising a month filled with drama, action, and entertainment.

The platform continues to impress with its diverse content, offering something for everyone.

House of Ga’a, a film about the rise and fall of a ruthless kingmaker, starring Femi Branch, Mike Afolarin, Funke Akindele, and Toyin Abraham, will premiere on July 26th.

Directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters, this film is expected to surpass her previous work, Man of God, which was nominated for several awards at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Other titles include Sprint, a sports series following elite sprinters, available from July 2nd; Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, an action-packed adventure starring Eddie Murphy, from July 3rd; Receiver, a sports series documenting the 2023 season of NFL receivers, from July 10th; and Vikings: Valhalla: Season 3, continuing the journey of Harald, Leif, and Freydis, from July 11th.

Also lined up are Lobola Man, a series about a slick lobola negotiator, from July 12th; Chad Daniels: Empty Nester, a comedy special, from July 16th; T・P BON: Season 2, continuing Bon’s extraordinary rescue missions, from July 17th; Find Me Falling, a film about a rock star’s complicated life, from July 19th; Elite: Season 8, the final season of the hit series, from July 26th; and The Dragon Prince: Season 6, following Callum and Rayla’s search to destroy Aaravos, from July 26th.

These titles join other local content currently streaming on the platform, including Shina, Kesari, Postcards, Strained, and Áfàméfùnà: An Nwa Boi Story.

With this impressive lineup, Netflix is poised to continue its reign as a leading streaming platform, offering endless entertainment options for its subscribers.
