The new Comptroller of Immigration Service Imo State Command, Patrick Ebegbune was recently posted to the state and has resumed duties.
Ebegbune is the 32nd Comptroller to take charge of the command having been transferred from the Document Fraud Unit, in the service headquarters, Abuja.
The new Comptroller takes over from Mrs Joan Mary Nwosu who has been posted to the service headquarters in Abuja.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, a Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) Mr Chiaka Okere, the new Comptroller hails from Delta State.
The Command’s PRO said that the new Passport Control Officer, Mr Udok Imeh Usoro who was also transferred to Imo Command from the service Headquarters in Abuja takes over from Mr Casmir Ihejirika who has also been moved to Immigration Training School, Kano, Kano State.
According to the Imo Command PRO, the new Comptroller assured to improve on the existing synergy among sister security agencies in the State.
He called for the support and cooperation of both the Command and Imo citizens in order to succeed.
