Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has congratulated renowned Islamic scholar and spiritual leader of the Tijjaniya Sect, Sheikh Usman Dahiru Bauchi, on attaining the age of 100.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Umaru Bago described Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi as a man of honor, integrity, and a giant pillar in the Islamic world who has contributed immensely to the propagation of Islam globally.

He noted that the Sheikh’s vast Islamic knowledge has helped foster unity and understanding, especially among other faiths.
The Governor acknowledged Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s strong will and appreciated Allah for allowing him to reach the rare centenary age in the modern era.
Governor Umaru Bago, while praying for good health and more wisdom for the renowned Sheikh, encouraged Muslims to take inspiration from the scholar, who has been an exceptional leader.
