Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has held separate meetings with the Ambassador of Brazil, Ricardo Guerra de Araujo, and the Ambassador of Turkey, Hidayet Bayraktar, primarily to enhance the already established bilateral relations.
The discussions, held at their respective embassies in Abuja, explored potential investment opportunities in various sectors of the economy, with a focus on agriculture.
Governor Umaru Bago took the time to explain each of the potential opportunities to the ambassadors for mutual benefit.

He expressed his appreciation to both ambassadors for their support toward the growth and development of the state.
The Brazilian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ricardo Guerra de Araujo, and the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayet Bayraktar, spoke about their countries in their respective offices.
They both expressed their readiness to sustain and strengthen bilateral relationships with the Niger State Government.
Governor Umaru Bago later inspected the greenhouse established at the Turkish Embassy in Abuja, where he pledged to bring some greenhouse produce from Niger State for sale to the embassy staff.
