Nigerians have continued to lament the hardship caused by the scarcity of petroleum products across the country following plan by President Bola Tinubu to remove fuel subsidy from July 1, 2023.

TRIBUNE ONLINE reports Tinubu, on Monday during his inaugural speech as the 16th President of Nigeria at Eagle Square, Abuja, announced his government will no longer provide funds to subsidise petroleum products.

According to him, he is taking this decision because the 2023 budget has not provided for the payment of fuel subsidy from the second half of the year.
