Nationnewslead reports that the National President of Telephone, Cable TV and Internet Subscribers of Nigeria (ATCIS), Mr. Sina Bilesanmi condemns the issue of NIMC that happened to its members by mistreating them in ABUJA which later metamorphosed to strike action.
The National President said it is a shame to any authority, and charged the Federal Government, Minister for Communication, the NCC and NIMC if they are true leaders, they need to come out and apologize to all their members and thousands of subscribers willing to come and do their National Identity Card.
“Mr. Sina made it known to Nationnewslead that the information gotten to him yesterday is that they locked thousands of members of his association outside, Mr. Sina said he called on authority if truly they are good leaders leading well, they need to apologize by writing an apology letter to the bodies of subscribers. The National President uttered that failure to do so, he will go on air and let all the members and other labour countries know that we don’t have good leaders in this nation.
He said this country is bigger than anybody and nobody is above the law, he said the authority failure to apologize to all his members that they locked out base on their civic right to apply for NIMC.
Mr. Bilesanmi said for them to lock them outside with the way they were treated, they don’t like it and this time, they must fight for their right.
According to him, he said the right of subscribers must stand out in any way or any form, he also appeal to all the NIMC staff and promised them that they are behind them. He said the staff are fighting for their right and the necessary things they need the government or their agency must do that including all the management of the NIMC must come to the aid of their staff and what they are fighting for (ATCIS) are in support of their right because the welfare of the staff must be dully give to them and according to the communicate issue to let people know that what they are fighting for they really mean it.
ATCIS Association said they need to procure and they need to observe the COVID-19 protocols, the head of ATCIS plead not to endanger the staff life because they are also human being likewise they are also his members and subscribers too he said.
He make it know that what the all staff are fighting for their association are in support nobody infect the COVID-19 to you and you also must not because there must be a adequate measurement.
As claimed by the president, he said don’t open yourself for this COVID-19. he pleaded to the government to do the necessary things for the staff of NIMC.
He pleaded to the Director General and the chief executive of NIMC Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar that he knew he is a good leader and this is the time he need to showcase the good leader in him. The ATCIS president implored NIMC agent that truly they appeal the decision of NIMC and NCC suggest two weeks. He said he want to let them know that the two weeks is not enough because their staff are on strike now are you going to extend it the one of January 16 2020 to those who have the NIN to link it and to those without NIN which is February 9, 2021 what is going to happen, are you going to extend it because thousands of people might have not have the opportunity since yesterday up till this moment.
Since your staff are on strike and you are called for National duty are you going to extend the date due to the short period of time giving to his members he asked.

The president announced that the population of telephone users as at October 2020 is now 208millions subscribers he said due to the deadline and strike of NIMC staffs they kill against January 16, 2021 or February 9, 2021 they said NIMC agency should call for another extension date at least four weeks more due to incapable of your leadership at NIMC failure to do so you shall hear from association body ATCIS President added.
