THE Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has called for volunteers to join the planning team for its highly-anticipated ninth Lagos Digital Public Relations Summit scheduled to hold in October.
The chapter, in a statement, said the two-day summit, tagged, ‘Nurturing Authentic Connections in Digital Ecosystems,’ to be held in conjunction with Upticomm Marketing Company, has already got the support of the Office of the Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Digital and New Media, alongside leading media houses, global PR and digital marketing communications agencies and industry professionals.
It explained that the summit will provide the opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of event management, gaining hands-on experience, while also engaging with top professionals in PR, digital marketing, media and technology.
The platform offers volunteers the chance to enhance their skills, grow their professional network and contribute to an event that is setting the benchmark for the future of digital communication in Nigeria and beyond.
Speaking on the initiative, the Chairman, Lagos NIPR, Comfort Obot Nwankwo, described the summit as a way of fostering innovation in public relations and digital communications.
She noted: “Volunteers will be able to contribute to an event that is shaping the future of digital PR and gain invaluable experience while making meaningful connections that will shape their careers forward.”
