The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep condolences to the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, over the demise of his Chief of Staff, Prince AbdulKadir Mahe who died earlier on Saturday in Ilorin.
In a condolence message on behalf of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the late Prince Mahe as an outstanding administrator who demonstrated commitment, wisdom, and loyalty in the discharge of his duties.
He extended his condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and the entire royal family, as well as the government and people of Kwara State over the sad event.
According to him, “The death of Prince Abdul Kadir Mahe is a great loss, not just to Kwara State, but to the entire Northern region and Nigeria at large, given his impactful contributions to governance and public service”.
The NSGF Chairman prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus and to provide solace and strength to his family, and the people of Kwara State during this difficult time.
