Former Super Eagles of Nigeria captain, Joseph Yobo, has described his experience at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre as wonderful and amazing.
The former Everton defender made this known while giving testimony during the Power Communion Service at Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to the footballer, despite praying to God on his own, his experience at Dunamis Church can be compared to nothing else.
Yobo said he believes God intentionally took him to Dunamis to fulfil his purpose, adding that he felt extraordinary peace at the church.
He said, “I do pray, but nothing can be compared to the experience I have had here. The three days of experience have been wonderful and amazing. My life is reaching its full completion because when God gives you purpose, it is left for you to fulfil it. I now understand the reason God brought me here. I am now getting close to my purpose. What I felt these three days is the utmost peace I have felt in over a year.”
Speaking about his football career, Yobo described it as divine, stating that his talent came only from God. He disclosed that one of the reasons God gave him talent was to use it to glorify His name.
“I believe that one of the reasons God gave me talent and put me in this position was to use it and glorify His name, and I think that’s what I’ve found here since I have been here.”
