The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Oyo State Chapter, has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment to the development of the Local Government system and the recognition of deserving staff in the recent appointment of Permanent Secretaries across the zones.
The Chairman of the Union, Comrade Adeogun Ayobami was quoted in a statement made available to the newsmen as stating that the appointment of his members to higher positions of responsibility is coming barely three months after the historic commissioning of the Local Government House.
This, according to him, further underscores the Governor”s visionary leadership and dedication to ensuring that the Local Government Service in Oyo State.
“The state will continue to thrive as a cornerstone of grassroots development.
“By elevating experienced and competent personnel from the Local Government system to the esteemed position of Permanent Secretaries, Governor Makinde has demonstrated his belief in meritocracy, professionalism, and the capacity of the Local Government workforce to contribute meaningfully to the overall growth of the state.

“We acknowledge this monumental step as not only a motivation for Local Government staff but also as a statement of trust in the system’s potential to deliver impactful governance at the grassroots level.

The newly promoted members include; Akinwale Olufemi Akindele, Oduola Adeola Omoyemi, Bamigbose Olanrewaju Alani, Busari Amusat Adekunle, Hazmat Kafilat Adefunke, Oguntona Thomas Oladele, Atoyebi Adedapo Olumuyiwa and Olusola-Jimoh Tolulope Adebanke.
