The Oyetola landmarks, the networks of good roads, transversely the state, amidst other milestones across sectors, are contextually, a good reason, conveniently found satisfactory, with exceptionally much persuasion to road transporters. What the Union said, analytically is that they endorsed him for another term of 4years because he provided quick fixes to the legion of the Osun people –identified dilapidated, deplorable roads that were the road transporters’ nightmare and other road users’ indignation, furry or anger, adding that they looked forward to more of such quality roads in the next dispensation.

And Oyetola responded, saying: “our endorsement is a clarion call for more services to the people,” with toasts of gratitude to the NURTW for the open show of support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) government and pleas made to the Union teeming members “to go and register and collect your voter’s card.

“There’s still opportunity to do so. This is the only power to further prove your support to us particularly in the next election. As said by your chairman, we are here as a government for all and nothing will stop us from putting the welfare and well being of our people at the front burner.

“I am assuring you that we will do more than what we have done. We are constructing more several kilometers of roads to change the face of infrastructure and ensure improved standard of living for all.”

The multi adopted Oyetola will unarguably, undeniably be the candidate to fly the governorship flag of the governing APC. Excuse me, why?

Oyetola is not in any quandary to deprive him the party governorship ticket; the youths, women and the physically challenged in the party as well as the orally grumbling members of the party will sure footed provide softer underbelly or electoral armoury much needed.

Oyetola may have some political goose pimples in the most unlikely quarters based on the toxic- shock reciprocity parallel, class-mate or course-mate syndrome, and job or work colleague symptom. I hope to dwell on this in no distant a time.

Never mind! Let Oyetola worry less about the three toxics. His governing APC is a viable platform preferred by both the folks and elites in the state in apparent affirmative response to the rising profile of his government’s high performances or achievements over years, with electoral nod of the larger Osun electorate for him. They will _en_ _masse_ gleefully vote for him at the next governorship poll, the kind of gratitude votes for his commitment and dedication to good governance and the building of greater Osun.

What that means is that not a single factor will be a deciding factor for Oyetola’s victory. Others would include his preference for social justice, equity and fairness, people’s welfare and security as well as his all–inclusive, participatory posture, consciously delivered over time as the primary purpose of government.

Those factors, with the configuration of the multiple endorsements of Oyetola stand him in good stead to coast home victory next July.

And we all, will be in for state wide celebrations.

The foregoing is not a step halfway. Oyetola has other angles to electoral triumph. He’s considered to be “a more moderate Muslim, more gentle Muslim, more unassuming Muslim, more listening Muslim, more conscientious Muslim, larger hearted Muslim, and broader minded Muslim,” quoting the General Overseer (G.O) of my church. Why this comparative basis inside G.O, I won’t know.

But if words from my church G.O on pulpit had been otherwise, then I would have left the church for another long before Femi Adesina “stopped attending a church because pastor always attacks Buhari.” As press point men, our loyalty cannot be 99.9per cent; it should be total! Unwavering! That’s it, always at risks! Hazardous!

And to provide the basis for logical reasoning, my church G.O, behind pulpit often postulates, “Mr. Osun Governor’s re-election will be helped profusely by his consistent goodwill to the Christian electorate as his carriages have not shown biases against Christian places of worship, schools and other Christian patrimony.”

One issue that must drop off the public psyche or public domain is the oral division in the party, pleadingly asking to be resolved now. Today, not tomorrow.

The success of APC also has strength to draw from its united inside.

The mega adoption of Oyetola by the Osun NURTW started well and ended well. No violence, assault or abuse happened and no one got the short end of the stick or treated as subhuman by any uninhibited another; no lost of any limb or life and no mental insubordination to any woman cladded in briefs, hot for pleasure market; and no one road transport worker is said to have been in the NURTW guardroom or ‘ancestral forest’ after the event to reflect on his action against anybody. The road transporters, all did very well.

The event venue? The bespectacled inside of the venue was that of an unusually heavy human traffics that nonetheless gave no requisite headache to the security operatives on ground. The crowds were housed in the numerous dome – shape tents of huge sizes, filled to the brim, and with the pavements greeted by an almost an endless sea of heads in periscope, decked in brightly multi – colour tops just as the premises burst at the scams.

Yet no one in the Osogbo business districts, host to the venue, wanted to be told what happened inside the oval shaped tents, seeing up afar off in the sky, without witnessing it first–hand. Welcome to Nelson Mandela Freedom park– the venue– that had businesses around boomed by the loud, determined event of the day– Oyetola’s mega endorsement.

The crowds for the NURTW’s endorsement of Oyetola superb, first-rate high quality and unparalleled, un-superseded by any mega election campaigns ever held in Osun political history. Too superb, enough to scare to jade any stubborn opponents to bitter end.

Meaning, the NURTW’s endorsement of Oyetola is the street mass movements for positivity and good incentive to electoral strength.

Not pliancy and subservience to noxious garrison politics in Osun (2003- Nov. 2010).

Yes, not.
