One of the blocs under the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC),  Lagos State Chapter, has restated its commitment to achieve significant milestones and make a meaningful impact in society as well as representing the Christian community with dignity.

The chairman of OAIC Lagos State, His Eminence, Apostle General, Julius Opasola made this known at the OAIC General Assembly and induction of elected state officers.

Opasola, who appreciated the bloc leaders at all levels for their continued selflessness and steadfast commitment to peace and progress, despite the challenges faced, expressed renewed hope and determination for more impacts.

He called for joint efforts in executing the vision and to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom, adding, “As we reflect on our journey, we celebrate the triumphs, lessons learned from setbacks, and look forward to continuing our pursuit of unity and progress of African Instituted Church in Lagos State, with renewed hope and determination.

“As we move forward we will focus on strengthening our fellowship and unity through the implementation of ideas for supporting the individual members and churches such as the creation of a cooperative society to promote economic empowerment, social welfare, and community development. Enhancing our evangelism and outreach efforts through interdenominational collaboration, biblical training, partnership and collaborations, youth involvement, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

“Expanding our impact in the community through service and charity. It has always been in our vision to have a befitting secretariat of OAIC in Lagos State, we will not relent in making an effort towards the actualisation of this vision. While we pray and work harder to realise this goal, may the Lord Almighty make a way for us. Let us continue to be the salt and light in our society, shining God’s love and hope to all,” he added.
