Peter Obi Reacts To 8th National Grid Collapse, Assures Nigerians Of Robust Power If Elected
The former Governor of Anambra State has expressed his concerns over the persistent breakdown of Nigeria’s electricity power generation grids.
In a post via his verified Twitter account today, the former Governor of Anambra State said if elected Nigeria’s president in the coming 2023 elections, his administration will ensure a robust improvement in power generation.
According to him, the repeated collapse of the national grid would be a thing of the past under his administration.
Obi, who described the latest national grid collapse as disturbing, said his team has a strategic plan to progressively scale up power generation and ensure liberalisation of the transmission infrastructure in the country, to ensure that Nigerians enjoy adequate and stable power supply from 2023 onwards.
The presidential hopeful said power remains a top priority on his agenda as a president.
