Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, is currently leading by votes in the results of Saturday’s Presidential election held in Lagos.

Out of the 17 local governments declared by INEC as of 3:30 am before the collation was adjourned to 10: 00 am, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won 10 while Obi was declared winner in seven.

The LGs won by the APC standard-bearer include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland and Surulere.

The Labour candidate, on the other hand, announced the winner in Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo and Somolu

With only the results of Alimosho, Ọjọ and Mushin being expected, Obi has polled 449,088 votes in total while Tinubu has so far garnered 416,431 votes.
