Nationnewslead reports that On Tuesday, 30th March 2021, the ancient town of Ijebu-Jesa was agog as Ojumu Support Group gathered to sensitize people on the need to re-elect Alhaji Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola for the second term as the Governor of State of Osun. The APC Chairman in Ward 3, Oriade Local Government, Elder Sammy Alake who spoke at the forum urged every party member present to see continuity as the only way to sustain the rapid growth and development that we are witnessing today in State of Osun. He(Elder Alake) further stressed that we should all live together peacefully with one another, to remain determined as supporters of Dr. Ojumu and to see themselves as brothers and sisters.
Similarly, one of the Management Team of Ojumu Group, Chief( Mrs) Adenike Adeleke ( Yeye Lara of Ijebu Jesa) while speaking at the event implored the teeming supporters of Dr. Desmond Oludare Ojumu to ensure they all work assiduously to have our amiable Governor for second term saying that it is when Governor Oyetola is on seat that the yearnings of everyone in Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency to have Dr. Desmond Ojumu as our Representative in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly come 2023 can materialize. She therefore tasked all the supporters and party faithful to embark on serious and vigorous campaign for Ilerioluwa. Hon. Gbeminiyi Arowosegbe who corroborated what other speakers have said mentioned that the only weapon that can be used to have Gov. Oyetola in Abere till 2026 is for all members to possess a valid Permanent Voters Card(PVC). The former CDC Chairman in Oriade LGA and Ojumu Group Management Team member, Hon Arowosegbe advised those who have not gotten PVC or those who lost theirs to make sure they get it when the PVC registration exercise begins in due course.
However, the Director – General of the Organization, Hon. Olaniyi Agboola in his remark tasked everyone especially the youths, under the aegis of Ojumu Youth Vanguard, to see themselves as catalysts for next level which State of Osun and Nigeria are moving to that the present administration in the State of Osun has performed creditably well to deserve another term of four years starting from 2022. The supporters and other APC party members present at the programme showered encomium on Dr. Ojumu for his passion and relentless effort towards helping and caring for the masses even as they distributed many gift items during the function such as food items and liquid soap. The DG in his reaction thanked everyone for the accolades given to his Principal, Dr. Ojumu that the Chairman/Founder of Ojumu Foundation will continue to make lives of the good people of Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency better and putting smiles on their faces.
