The atmosphere was filked with funfair and celebration yesterday Wednesday 18th of August 2021 as the Obokun/Oriade house of representatives hopeful Ola Babajide a k a Jendor met with the Jendor sisters from each ward of Obokun/Oriade constituency at his campaign office in Ipetu Ijesa on ‘Together we stand and we move’ gathering fof 4+4 Ileri Oluwa Leekansi.
At the meeting, Hon. Jendor highlighted various developmental activities and people oriented programmed of governor Oyetola in the past 3 years in the state.
According to him, “The prompt payment of salaries of workers in the state by the present administration is a welcome development, the infrastructure in the health sector is another landmark achievement of Governor Oyetola’s administration, so we are here to show our supports for the governor.”
“The Jendo sisters is formed to propagate the good works of the governor and to mobilize people especially women to support the incumbent gov in 2022 to continue to spread the dividend of democracy to the people of the state.
“The sisters who are chosen from each ward in Oriade/Obokun federal constituency are also to work together with other stakeholders to support the ambition and aspiration of Ola Babajide Ojeniyi to represent the constituency in the federal House of Representatives in 2023.”
“I seize the opportunity to call on the people of this constituency to cooperate and support the governor in the next year governorship election. A good turn deserves another it is time we reciprocate the good work the governor has been doing since 2018.” Babajide added.
