Nationnewslead reports that The Ondo State House of Assembly has approved a request by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, to appoint 13 Special Advisers.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director of Information Services, Mr. Sehinde Falokun, on Wednesday, in Akure.
Shortly after his inauguration, last week, Akeredolu announced the appointments of his Chief of Staff and Chief Press Secretary, Chief Olugbenga Ale and Mr. Richard Olatunde, respectively.
According to the statement, the lawmakers took the decision was sequel to a letter of request written by the governor’s Chief of Staff, Chief Olugbenga Ale.
It stated, “Members of the House at a parliamentary meeting on Tuesday observed that the request was in line with the constitutional rights of the governor.”
It added that the appointment would, “accelerate the machinery of government with a view to engendering prompt delivery of democracy dividends to the people.”
