Members of a youth group under the umbrella of Arigidi Akoko Youth Congress have commended the development efforts of the present administration in Ondo state and for appointing more youths in his administration.
This was contained in a statement by the group, expressing their appreciation over the appointments of some youths, saying the governor’s action demonstrated a revolutionised system of government and mentorship in the state.
In the statement signed by the group’s President, Comrade Bright Alabi, who expressed satisfaction with the governor’s approach to political appointments and commitment to due process, nothing that appointing more youths will end the era of recycling of old leaders.
According to him, if the youths are well tutored and mentored, it would go a long way to equip them with wealth of experience which would enable them to effectively and efficiently take over future leadership of the country.
Hailing governor Aiyedatiwa on the appointment of Dr. Stephen Agbi on the recent appointment as a Special Assistant to Governor Aiyedatiwa, the group described the appointment as divine which is aimed at facilitating dividends of democracy to the masses considering his positive impacts in the business world.
According to the youths, Agbi has a conglomerate of businesses which he has been using to better the lifes of the masses with his Farm Feed Stomach (FFS), a farming business providing jobs for hundreds of Nigeria youths.
The group stated “the Arigidi Akoko born Real Estate mogul has been a staunch supporter of APC since her inception.
“He was a Member of Tinubu Shettima Movement, Deputy National Chairman South, Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement and several other notable associations within the Progressives family.
The group urged him to discharge his duty with all diligence and fairness, congratulating him on his new attainment.
