I hereby appeal to the Governor of Ondo State Lucky Ayedatiwa to please create an enabling economic environment throughout the state. In addition, within Ore township the roads there are bad.
Among the six states in the South-West, it is only Ondo State that does not have a standard stadium. This is a big shame for an oil rich state. The Akure Stadium is not up to standard and it can never be approved for playing international matches. Peradventure Sunshine Stars football club qualifies for a continental competition, Akure stadium will not be approved. I urge Mr Governor to complete the ultra-modern abandoned stadium which the late Dr Olusegun Agagu began to build before he was removed from office. The states around Ondo like Osun State, Edo State and even Delta State have standard stadia.
Once again, I urge the governor of the state to make a move now. He should not let the good people of our state down. He should strive to take our state to next level.
