
The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Government, Hon. Olubunmi Obeisun Ezekiel, has directed all council workers to resume duty immediately, dismissing any illegal directives influenced by political interests. He urged workers to uphold professionalism and adhere strictly to service rules.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hon. Obeisun reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparent and inclusive governance. He emphasized that political interference should not disrupt the smooth operation of the local government, stressing that workers must remain dedicated to their responsibilities.

“I want to assure every council worker that this administration will uphold due process and fairness. You are urged to return to work without fear or hesitation and follow only legitimate service rules. Any directive that contradicts the law and professionalism should be ignored,” he stated.
The chairman further assured workers of his unwavering commitment to their welfare, promising an administration that prioritizes their well-being while ensuring effective service delivery to the people of Oriade Local Government.
Hon. Obeisun emphasized that governance thrives on order and discipline, urging all employees to focus on their duties and contribute to the development of the local government without fear of intimidation.

With this directive, normalcy is expected to return to the council secretariat as workers resume their duties under the guidance of service regulations and ethical governance.
