The All Progressive Congress Caretaker Chairman in Oriade Local Government Hon. Bunmi Obeisun has promised to reconcile with aggrieved leaders and members of the party in Oriade.
Bunmi Obeisun stated this in a meeting held with High Chief Ishola Ogunsanya the Baba Orisa of Iloko-Ijesa on Monday.
The Caretaker Chairman made the pledge when he was received by the Ijesa North Leader. The meeting which centered on promoting unity in the party in Oriade local government.
“The Ijesa North leader, High Chief Ishola Ogunsanya said the Ijesa North leadership of the party will continue to support unity and progress of APC in Oriade/Obokun and Osun State as a whole.
“The leadership of the party has great respect for due process, discipline and all programmes that will contribute to making it stronger,” Ishola Ogunsanya was quote as saying in the statement.
The statement also quoted the caretaker chairman Hon. Bunmi Obeisun assuring that he would continue to promote unity among members of the party in Oriade.
“Also one of the chairmanship aspirant in the local government Hon. Akinwale Abimbola Lawanson said he commended the governor for giving the party the desired leadership with a sense of direction.
“Obeisun promised to use his positions to help build a strong APC in Oriade and to contribute meaningfully in the parliament to support the APC-led government towards improving the lives of our people,” he said.
