Nationnewslead reports that the ever serene town, Ijeda-Ijesa was thrown into panic as one of Hon. Olubunmi Obeisun ‘s boys, Mr. Olawale Awe( popularly known as Elewa) launched an attack on the SUBEB Chairman in Oriade Local Government, Hon. Abiodun Fakorede( a. k. a Panaf) and the Director – General of Ojumu Foundation, Hon. Olaniyi Agboola.
Mr. Olawale Awe who has been known for his notorious activities in Oriade Local Government Area especially in Ijebu-Jesa acted violently at the venue of the APC meeting in the compound of the APC Leader in the Local Government, FEG Agro. The atmosphere of the meeting which was reported to be serene and peaceful turned chaotic as Hon. Obeisun ( Former Oriade Local Government Chairman) arrived the venue of the meeting with his ‘boys'(including Mr. Olawale Awe). Mr. Awe, upon alighting from the vehicle approached Hon. Agboola violently and assaulted him to the extent that he( Mr. Awe) tore the face cap (with inscription of Oyetola 4+4=8) worn by Hon. Agboola, into pieces. Apart from the physical assault, Mr. Awe threatened to kill the DG, DG’s family members and at least two members of Ojumu Group with charms and dangerous weapons.
Furthermore, our correspondent reported that this serial attacker, Mr. Awe( popularly known as Elewa) who has been disturbing the peace of Ijebu-Jesa and its environs with the aid of his boss, Hon. Obeisun and his accomplice, Hon. Dehinde Kato, assaulted the Oriade SUBEB Chairman, Hon. Fakorede( a. k. a Panaf) while he was trying to make peace. Mr. Awe said that he had to beat Panaf simply because Hon. Fakorede is a Stakeholder in Ojumu Foundation. At this juncture, It is pertinent to recall what the same man, Mr. Awe did to one Mr. Fatodu Taiwo(a member of Ojumu Group) during APC Ward meeting held in Ijebu-Jesa on Friday 26th February 2021 where Mr. Fatodu was assaulted. And Mr. Awe was reported to have attacked Panaf before in Obeisun ‘s house in the presence of the immediate past Chairman couple of weeks ago. Meanwhile, the matter that happened this last Saturday has been incidented at the police station in Ijebu-Jesa which we gathered might lead to court.
