The Chairman of Oriade Local Government, Hon. Olubunmi Obeisun Ezekiel, has expressed profound appreciation to the good people of Oriade, both indigenes and non-indigenes, for their unwavering support and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He acknowledged their contributions to the party’s success and pledged to serve with dedication.
In a statement marking his second day in office, Hon. Obeisun extended his gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his continuous support of the progressive family and the nation. He also appreciated the APC National Leader, Baba Bisi Akande, for his steadfast support and guidance whenever called upon. Additionally, he lauded the immediate past Governor of Osun State and the current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, for his vital role during the local government court case.
Hon. Obeisun further acknowledged the APC State Chairman in Osun, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal Sooko, whom he described as “Alága Olorire” for his unwavering support. He also commended the APC leadership at the local government level, including the area councils and LCDAs, under the stewardship of High Chief Emiola Ogunsanya (Baba Feg) and Hon. Oluwatayo, as well as all party members and loyalists.
Recognizing the support of traditional rulers, Hon. Obeisun appreciated the royal fathers in Oriade for always standing by the party and providing guidance whenever called upon. He emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in governance and community development.
He also extended special gratitude to all APC leaders, party members, family, and well-wishers who accompanied him to the council office as he officially resumed duty. Their presence, he said, demonstrated their commitment to the progress and development of Oriade Local Government.
Hon. Obeisun reaffirmed his commitment to delivering good governance, ensuring inclusiveness, and working in the best interest of the people of Oriade. He called for continued support and unity among party members to achieve collective progress.
