The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly aspirant for Oriade State Constituency, Mr. Fanimokun Samuel Ibikunle, has extended his congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr. Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye, and the people of Ijebu Ijesa on the successful celebration of Egboro Day, held today. The event, a significant annual celebration in Ijebu Ijesa, was marked by cultural displays and community gatherings that highlighted the rich heritage of the Egboro Kingdom.

Mr. Fanimokun, in his message, commended Oba Agunsoye’s leadership in preserving the cultural legacy of Ijebu Ijesa. He noted that Egboro Day serves as a powerful reminder of the strength and unity among the people of Ijebu Ijesa, reinforcing the bonds that tie the community together and fostering a shared sense of pride and identity.

The aspirant emphasized the role of traditional festivals in instilling values of respect, togetherness, and heritage within the community. In addition to his remarks on Egboro Day, Mr. Fanimokun also extended a message of goodwill to the APC Local Government Chairman, Chief Ajewole, popularly known as Golo, on the occasion of his father-in-law’s final burial rites, held today in Eree Ijesa. Fanimokun expressed his condolences to Chief Ajewole and his family, recognizing the profound importance of family bonds and community support during times of loss.

Mr. Fanimokun acknowledged Chief Ajewole’s pivotal role within the APC and his efforts in fostering unity and progress across the local government area. He praised Ajewole’s dedication to the party’s values and the community’s welfare, noting that his contributions have greatly strengthened the APC’s presence and influence in the region.

He commended the residents of Ijebu Ijesa and Eree Ijesa for their commitment to preserving cultural traditions and family values.
