Kolapo Alimi, a stalwart of the Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) and two-time former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, has officially defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Alimi, who was a staunch member of The Osun Progressives (TOP), has also been announced as the Deputy Director-General, Ademola Adeleke campaign organisation.
The appointment was also confirmed by Sunday Bisi, the Director-General of the campaign council.
Confirming the news, the Erin-Osun-born politician revealed that he has finally decamped to the PDP.
The former Commissioner was rumoured to be romancing with the Osun PDP and was billed to join the Adeleke group in April but it was suspended briefly. Continue Reading
