The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has advised the camps of Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, and Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to embrace peace in the interest of the State.
IPAC is the umbrella body of all registered political parties.
The council regretted that the clashes between the opposing camps are capable of plunging the state into anarchy.
A statement by IPAC Chairman Wale Adebayo said the incessant crisis is capable of painting the State in a bad light.
Advising the major actors in Monday’s shooting to call their men to order, Adebayo urged the two respected leaders to embrace peace.
‘It is obvious that democracy can only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere. It is our only hope of building a strong, virile, stable, prosperous, and just society, Adedayo said.
