Indeed, Oyetola’s peace blitz is infectious. What?
No sooner that the pendulum of his peace cannonade, call swung forth than the lethargic and resentful party faithful showcased their re-unification, harmony and solidarity, in the open, symmetrically. The proof of the pudding, in the eating was first at Ikirun, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Council, with the party members of mammoth proportions on hand to welcome Oyetola to the 40th day Fidahu prayers for Alhaji Gbadamosi Owoseni Lawal, famous progressive politician.
At the event a Saturday ago, the extremely lot of party members across party groupings, registered and unregistered, jettisoned dammed up and hardened obsessional separatist thoughts or bottled up pre-conceived notions of acrimony, division in the party and all crowded around Oyetola.

Curiously, no one panicked or gasped at any straws, and no one went off the deep end, emotional, chastened or intimidated and no haziness that could have set the party members and supporters at the Ikirun, Osogbo inauguration and pre- congress events, on any chaotic course.
Indicating that Oyetola’s peace juggernaut has offered the party in the state an armistice, cease-fire, the scructch to fall back on now and in future whenever things appear ugly or go awry.
Oyetola’s peace salvo, exertion or burst has its many other tendencies. It soonest builds speed, mobility and strength- moral, numerical and electoral into the party, nip in the bud any hasty to confusion of parallel leadership, parallel conducts, parallel resolutions, parallel voting lines; and permit latitude to take collective actions to accomplish the party’s preferences.
And like in automations, the Oyetola peace spurt or crusade soonest gets adaptability ingrained in the Osun APC; pointedly, party attention on pettiness, meanness will be streamlined and ultimately afford party leadership requisite control of the party as constitutionally permitted without bullying at any party members or being bullied by members; and his peace whistlestop, whistling in the spirit of camaraderie in the imaginary lobby between separatist group agitations and the party, will get the party groupings think through the party and not the other way round or through any parallel networks. New complications could railroad to the Osun APC should the leadership willy-nilly, carelessly allow Oyetola’s preference for peace slip through the party’s fingers on the altar of egocentric heroism of type ‘xyz-m’: a hellish curse in disguise put in place by the opposition party in the state.
The curse is effective or so it seems, to have, in the first instance, caused the invasion of the APC family house, governing party secretariat by same family members like the cat that creeps on padded paws and suddenly pounces on its prey, swift and devastating. It has never been that vicious, and hope never to take any such proportions again. “The invasion of the party secretariat by armed thugs stands condemned as no sane society will condone the resort to self-help in settling disagreements within a family,” Oyetola stated, as he felt genuinely touched about the bewildered innocent Osun citizens in the surroundings.
The Oyetola peace excavator will unearth the firestorm differences within the party, causes, effects and prevention with finality just as neither Prince Adegboyega Famodun nor Rev’d Adelowo Adebiyi does desire any next ‘physical action and legal reaction,’ any longer, with followers dissolved into one as leaders are one.
Famodun and Adebiyi are buddy, two jolly good fellows, old buds in the state party Executive Council: the former as party secretary and the latter, party chairman, both of yesteryears; and today, the former is current party chairman and the latter, former party chairman.

The tow, holistically as programmed, is silently but powerfully reworking the state APC psychology, physiology and sociology, making the party more secure; more peaceful, with party’s members’ trust, confidence, commitment or sense of duty resuscitated; unity, peace, love revitalized; and the party’s perspectives in space, strength, internal democracy widened for party’s growth and development, prospecting for more potential voters and what the party plays out in future.
And redefining the party politics in the art of promoting and protecting party’s collective interests comes within purview.
Yes, within the purview lies the APC-Oyetola all inclusive governance of Osun, with the people of the state having highly quality participatory democracy through the Oyintiloye Civic Engagements, also marked by strikingly tangible dividends of democracy, all are proud of.
Everyone.
