Nationnewslead report that On Saturday, 4th February, 2023 MD, FAAN- Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria Capt. Rabiu Yadudu, was in Mallam Aminu Kano Int. Airport Kano, Kano state. He was there to formally commission a freshly constructed road network in the town. The over N300m road was network of roads was funded by Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe, the Chairman, CITA Petroleum Limited.
The event was graced by several dignitaries including the Regional General Manager North, Alhaji Gambo Abubakar Aboki, GM, Business Development, FAAN, Mr Hycinth Ugwu.
The construction of the road network is one of various community development projects embarked upon by Prince Thomas Ogungbangbe (Ph.D). These projects are designed to gradually transform the area to an economically vibrant city and particularly this one to return Kano Airport to a boisterous business arena.
Dr. Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe is a prince from Ajagbusi Ekun Ruling House of Iloko-Ìjẹ̀sà, Oriade Local Government area of Osun State.
He is a business owner, entrepreneur par excellence, philanthropist, humanitarian and a disciplinarian.
