Nationnewslead report that Pioneer Commissioner For Cooperatives and Empowerment in Osun State and the first Commissioner in Iloko-ijesha, Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe has assured residents of the state of his preparedness to instigate accelerated development in the ministry with a view to reinventing the age long vision of cooperative sector as a tool to stimulate grassroots joint effort financial engineering.
Cooperative according to the honorable commissioner, was invented to invigorate micro enterprises with people of identical business set skills, forming partnership under government approval and support to achieve their target economic goals.
“This, the ministry of cooperative and empowerment will beam a lot of focus to stimulate grassroot purchasing power and for which the state economy base will be further strengthened, in line with the lofty plans of the state Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
“To achieve the set goals, we will work with essential organizations like, cooperative Unions, the FOSCOOP, affiliate training institutions, relevant international agencies as well as the ministry’s trained officials, with a view to reawakening the fading glory of the cooperative sector” Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe assured.
