Ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and party National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, have urged the electorate to vote for the party’s candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Atiku, Ayu and the immediate past President of the Senate, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, who charged the electorate on Thursday during the PDP mega rally in Osogbo, insisted that the party’s candidate, Adeleke won the 2018 governorship election but was allegedly stolen by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

They urged all Osun residents to remain firm and not to allow the APC to steal their votes again.

Atiku in his short remark said “Now, I have come to Osun to particularly ask you not to allow the APC to steal your victory again.

“This state is a PDP state. I have come to appeal to you that on Saturday, you vote for PDP and cross check your vote. Don’t allow rigging and APC stealing in Osun State, the Waziri Adamawa said.

The PDP 2023 presidential candidate also alleged that, “The APC has been rigging the Osun election for years now. The first rigging they did it through the court, the last rigging they did it through the ballot. I appeal to you to vote, protect your votes and return the PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.”

Earlier in his remarks, Saraki noted that, “We were here four years ago. They stole our votes. And we will not allow them to steal it again. Is time to vote out darkness, it is time to vote out failure and I am sure you will vote for Ademola Adeleke. vote PDP.

On his part, PDP national chairman, Ayu assured the Osun people that the PDP administration will bring about the development in the state.

In his short remark, Adeleke urged the electorate not to sell their conscience.

He said, “We are aware they are bringing money. Don’t sell your conscience. The money they are bringing is your money. Vote your conscience, don’t sell your votes.” Continue Reading
