…Urges Police to curtail their excesses
A socio-political group, Osun Shall Rise Again, OSRA, has condemned in strong term the decision by Senator Ademola Adeleke and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to block the entrance of the State Specialist Hospital, Asubiaro, Osogbo, for a campaign rally.
OSRA made this known in a statement signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Barake Saheed and Lanre Akeju respectively.
The group noted that if there was any emergency on the said day, it would certainly have been difficult and even impossible to access the hospital.
It further said “as a group committed to the peace, growth and development of Osun, we believe that the decision by the PDP and Adeleke to hold a rally at the entrance of the hospital is not only provocative but also highly unacceptable.
“We condemned in total the blockage of the Hospital entrance and urged the Osun Police Commissioner to take proactive measures in curtailing the excesses of the PDP and Senator Ademola Adeleke, going forward.” Continue Reading
