The member representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun, Rep. Bamidele Salam, has declared open, registration for the BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp 2024.
The BS-E4 Business and Leadership Bootcamp is an annual event under the BS-E4 Initiative with the overall objective of empowering young Graduates and young business owners within the Federal Constituency with the right skills-set needed for running sustainable business enterprises by connecting them to leading institutions in the public and the private sectors that can support them in establishing their business ideas or expanding their existing businesses.
The 3-day Bootcamp which will hold from 7th to 9th March 2024, will train about 400 young persons drawn from across the four Local Government Areas of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo.
It will feature sessions on entrepreneurship development, business orientation and networking, leadership training, social media marketing, communication skills, business plan writing, as well as exposure to business financing opportunities and post-camp mentoring.
Successful participants who will be trained by seasoned business practitioners and officials of public and private financial institutions, will at the end of the Bootcamp, pitch their business ideas for an opportunity to get Startup Grants of both financial and material support.
Interested applicants must be graduates of any Higher Institution of Learning who are indigenes or permanent resident of any of the four Local Government Areas of Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo between the ages of 18 and 35.
Interested young persons who meet the application criteria can apply at the designated portal.
Application closes at 11:59pm on Friday, 19th January, 2024.
In the statement personally signed by him, Rep. Salam disclosed that only successful candidates will be contacted.
According to him, the 3-day Bootcamp is absolutely FREE to all selected participants and interested persons are strongly advised not to pay money to anybody to participate.
