The Osun State Council of Obas’ Rotational Vice President and Ijesa North Council of Obas’ Rotational Chairman, Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo King Benjamin Ogungbangbe, the Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa and Ajagbusi Ekun VI, has extended warm Christmas greetings to all sons and daughters of Iloko Ijesa, both at home and abroad.
In a statement released through his media team, the revered monarch expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Iloko Ijesa for their unwavering support. He emphasized the importance of unity and love, urging everyone to remain their brother’s keeper during this festive season.
Highlighting the significance of togetherness, Oba Ogungbangbe encouraged the community to embrace peace and harmony. He referenced a popular Iloko Ijesa song, “Omo Ìlokò òkàn la fo rí se,” which translates to “Iloko children succeed in unity,” as a reminder of the strength that comes from collective efforts.
