The Osun State Police Command said it has arrested Saheed Wasiu popularly known as K-Federal, one of the deadly and notorious members of Rasheed Hammed (Oko-Ilu) led gangsters in Ede, Osun State.
K-Federal was arrested on Sunday around the Alusekere area in Ede.
Recall that Oko-Olu, a notorious cultist, who according to police, was responsible for the death of many, was hunted down last year and arrested in Osogbo.
According to information from a Police source, Police detective from the Special Anti-cultism unit swung into action and arrested the suspect.
During the interrogation, in a information make available to NIGERIAN TRIBUNE by the command’s spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, K-Federal confessed to be a member of Eiye confraternity led by Oko-Ilu who has been arrested and remanded at correctional custody sometimes ago.
“Suspect confessed to have participated in the killing of almost twenty (20) innocent citizens of Ede town and dropped their corpses at Osun River, Sagba area, Ede, among the victims they have killed are: late Wale, Jamiu, Ganiyu, Azeez and Eyimba and others.”
“The suspect will be charged to court after the completion of investigation.”
