A Lagos based Lawyer identified as Omobolanle Raheem, was on Christmas Day shot dead by a Policeman in Lagos.
The Young lady who was a member of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) was shot dead by a police Assistant Superintendent (ASP) on Sunday with no reason given for the killing as at the time of filing this report.
The horrible experience happened near the Ajah bridge on Sunday as the deceased returned from church.
Report monitored by Daily Post, confirmed that Bolanle was reportedly shot while she sat in the car, with her husband beside her.
Recall that in early December, a policeman of the Ajah Division opened fire and killed Gafaru Buraimoh during a raid of black market fuel sellers.
Both killer cops are believed to be attached to Ajiwe Station, a police post accused of rights abuses and overzealous personnel.
The spokesman described the officer’s action as “unfortunate and avoidable”.
In reaction to the incident, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin Expressed his displeasure and assured the deceased family of justice.
He said, “The ASP that shot and two others with him have since been taken into custody. They are to be moved to the SCID for further investigation”,
