Nationnewslead report that Prominent Osun monarch, His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Ajagbusi Ekun VI, Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa kingdom urged the Muslim believers to remember the needy as they celebrate Eid-al-Fitr across the world.
Owaloko said the teachings of the 30 days of fasting and supplication must not be forgotten.

Oba Olusayo, in a statement described Eid-al-Fitr season as a time to present gifts to loved ones and celebrate with one another after the long fasting.
“Eid al-Fitr is a festival of love, a time of official receptions and private visits, when friends greet one another, present gifts, and celebrate after a long fasting and prayer period”.
“Though, we have come to the end of Ramadan, we must not forget the lessons of the past 30 days of fasting, spiritual renewal, reflection and charity.
“While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and insecurity. We must remember the needy,” Owaloko said.
