Nationnewslead report that His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa, on Tuesday April, 18th, 2023, was at the Ramadan Lecture which took place at Owaloko Palace, Iloko-Ijesa.
The Ramadan public lecture was also graced by High Chief J.F Demola Osedahunsi Baba Saba, High Chief Akin Satiregun Baba Aro, High Chief Mrs Felicia Adubi Yeyerisa & other chiefs, Islamic believers among others
Oba Akeem Ogungbangbe, in his keynote address commend all Muslims on the occasion of the Ramadan fast and prayed for a successful conclusion of the annually obligatory duty.
Also Owaloko advocates convocation of a Sovereign wealth fund in consonance with Islamic tradition.
In his remarks Owaloko appealed to the congregation to continue to utilize all the lessons of Ramadan even after the holy month.
