Responding, CP Funsho Adegboye, denied the PDP allegations, saying “The case has been transferred to Abuja. Whatever observations or comments anybody has should be directed to the force headquarters.
Also responding, Comrade Orobosa Omo-Ojo, Director of Publicity, APC medial campaign council, said the PDP actions so far, is an attempt to harass the police and block investigation of the violent crimes they have visited on the state and her people.
“Rather than show remorse, the PDP has gone ahead to irresponsibly drag names of innocent people into their illicit lies.
“Nigerians may wish to note that, the Vanguard Newspapers have tendered apology for accepting and publishing the libelous advertorial that contained the names and faces of innocent Nigerians that had nothing to do with fatal shooting at the Benin airport”
He however appealed to the National Security Adviser to do everything logically possible to outlaw Godwin Obaseki’s private ‘police’ called Edo State Security Network (ESSN).
