Multiple award-winning actress, producer, and politician, Funke Akindele, has marked her 46th birthday in grand style.
To commemorate her special day, the Lagos-born actress took to Instagram today to share some pictures of herself and showered prayers on herself.
Captioning the pictures, she wrote, “#ToGodbetheglory. Happy birthday, OLUWAFUNKE AKINDELE!! You will never know sorrow in Jesus’ name!!! Ayo ni o.”
To celebrate the screen goddess’s birthday, celebrities such as Tope Alabi, Mr. Macaroni, Eniola Badmus, Toke Makinwa, and Tonto Dikeh, among others, took to the comment section of the birthday post to pour encomiums on her.
Funke Akindele, who hails from Ikorodu, Lagos State, was born on August 24, 1977. The thespian has been featured in several movies and won many awards, including the highly coveted Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).
