There was heavy security presence at the entrances of all the ports in Lagos on Monday as workers under the aegis of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) complied with the directive of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) by shutting down the nation’s busiest ports of Apapa, Tin-Can and Lekki Ports.
