Popular skit maker and prankster, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, has recounted ugly experience he had while in prison.
TRIBUNE ONLINE reports on June 22 that Trinity Guy was summoned to appear before the Oyo State Police Command over an allegation of sexualising minor following his viral prank video involving a female little girl.
Subsequently, a Magistrate Court at Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, ruled that Trinity Guy be remanded in prison until August.
He, however, regained freedom a few days ago from the correctional Centre on bail.
Speaking on experience while he was behind bars, the prankster, in a now viral video shared by a Twitter user @EditiPeter, said that the Nigerian correctional facility is an entirely different world.
According to him, he totally lost his freedom and was left with no other option than to settle for beans as food.
He said, “That place is another world, I don’t have any freedom… I ate beans, I ate beans…”
Earlier, the controversial content creator took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to thank God for his return and appreciated his family, colleagues, and fans who were there for him during the trying times.
He disclosed that he would henceforth stay along the line of modesty, adding that his time in prison has taught him valuable life lessons.
He wrote, “spending a few times in solitude showed me how valuable freedom is and how much the effect of a loving family can keep you from going insane. I will make sure to move on and try as much as I can to stay within the lines of modesty.
“I would just like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all my fans worldwide , all my colleagues and my family members. It is a very nice feeling when you know there are people who love you so much. God bless the Nigeria police and God bless everyone that stood by me.”
