Niger State Police Command has confirmed the recovery of a stolen Toyota Corolla vehicle with registration number RBC 94 BT in Minna, the state capital.
According to a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the vehicle was stolen on August 12, 2024, at around 8:15 am from the Obasanjo Shopping Complex on Bosso Road, Minna.
The owner of the vehicle had parked it while shopping and discovered it missing upon his return. He promptly reported the incident to the Police Area Command Office in Minna, and police intelligence operatives swung into action.
The statement did not provide details on how the vehicle was recovered but confirmed that the police are on the trail of the fleeing suspect.
The Niger State Police Command further assured the public that efforts are being made to apprehend the suspect and bring them to justice.
